Phenylketonuria can affect pregnant women, babies, children and adults. Therefore, people who have the disease need to maintain a diet low in protein. The first thing I did to follow this diet was to obtain more information about the disease process and its diet. I attempted to find a good selection of affordable foods that I could eat without making myself seek.
