Pharaoh Khufu ruled Ancient Egypt from 2551 - 2528 B.C.E during the Old Kingdom. Depending on how you knew him you either thought he was a kind and peaceful or cruel and harsh. Pharaoh Khufu was really good at controlling food supply by overseeing the harvest storage of extra grain. Pharaoh Khufu was also great at controlling government officials who carried out his laws. Pharaoh Khufu's greatest accomplishment was The Great Pyramid of Giza. The pyramid was built as a tomb for himself and his family. The Great Pyramid was built in only 20 years and made of 2,300,000 blocks.
