The most commonly known theory is that due to living in Neverland, Peter Pan has become some what immortal. Another assumption that was made by fans is that Peter Pan doesn’t stop aging entirely, but that he is just aging much slower than everyone else. If this was true, then it would explain how Peter Pan is twelve years old when he arrived in Neverland at seven days old. The least known theory, I anticipate, is that Peter Pan is like a child-god. In mythology, these children were called Puer aeternus. Just like gods they could never age again, but they could always change their appearance. Really they’re all only theories, so we don’t know the real answer. Even though J.M. Barrie may have taken the answer to that question to his grave, I reckon he would have wanted us to interpret it however we saw the reasoning behind it. And though Peter Pan doesn’t age his arch nemesis Captain Hook does. The question is why does Hook want Pan
