Inca Discovery starts in Lima, and visits Cusco, Sacred Valley, Warmiwanusca, the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and the Aguas Calientes. While the Inca Trail Express starts in Cusco, and visits the 12 Angled Stone, Regociji Square, Scared Valley, Ollantaytambo, the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. Both tours visit 7 locations/attractions, all very similar apart from 2 places . For G Adventures, Warmiwanusca and the Aguas Calientes are both along the Inca Trail track, and for Intrepid Regociji Square and the 12 angled stone are neither along the Inca Trail track therefore leaving a better opportunity to see and experience more outside of Machu Picchu.

Overall, Intrepid's Inca Trail Express tour predominantly wins, as there are more inclusions, it was proven to have better value for money and its itinerary is worth more and incorporates more of an opportunity for location and cultural experience. Although Inca Discovery has the advantage of an extra day and rooming by yourself, Intrepid emerges as the overall winner for its extra itinerary options and inclusions for only $23 extra
