Persuasive Speech On Nuclear Power Plant

Today I am going to talk about the topic of nuclear power. A local Nuclear Power Plant has come up with the idea to build a power plant in the town of Enola, PA. As the governor of Harrisburg, I am persuaded you to allow this to happen. There are three reasons you should allow this to happen. One reason is that it doesn’t cause pollution. Another reason is that it would produce more energy for the state. The last reason is that the operating cost is low. These are some reasons that you should allow this company to build the power plant in the local town of Enola, PA.

The first reason why you should allow the power plant to be built is because it does not cause pollution. Most people say that the air that comes out of the top of the towers is polluted, but they are wrong. The air that comes out of the top of the tower is just steam. It is not polluted because the stem does not go through the uranium part of the system. So the steam coming out the tower is just evaporated water, it is not polluted air. These are not the only beneficial outcomes of nuclear power, there are several beneficial outcomes than just those three. But if you are considering building a power plant but still aren’t sure about it, you should consider doing so more research on it if you still are unsure about the outcomes of it. Considering you are the governor, you have a large number of responsibilities as to what happens in the counties, but I very much hope you will allow the nuclear power company to build a power plant in the town of Enola because like in the I sated in the information on the previous paragraphs it has various benefits towards different stuff.
