Persuasive Speech: All Australian Schools Should Have Links With Schools Overseas

Decent Essays
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, today, I will be arguing that “All Australians Schools Should Have Links With Schools Overseas.” But before I begin my case, I would like to point out a few flaws in the opposition's case.

Australian schools should obviously have links with schools overseas. Without links with school overseas, Aussie children could be very unaware of things outside of Australia. It is very impeding for kids, and others will see Australian kids as ignorant. For the good of children and keeping Australia its wonderful reputation, let ALL Australian schools have links with schools overseas.

First of all, we can share numerous ideas with schools around the world. We may learn a substantial amount of important yet unknown facts

Additionally, qualitative information from interviews the author will undertake with principals of primary schools within the electorate, such as the Port Melbourne Primary School principal will further add to the author’s considerations within the paper. The afore mentioned ministers, The Hon. Mr Dixon, Mr Hulls and Mr Foley, as well as Mr Martin have all agreed to an interview with the author, therefore accessibility to relevant individuals should not be of any concern. In addition, quantitative data from such sources as the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and The Australian Bureau of Statistics regarding enrolment and admissions numbers within the electorate will be gathered to substantiate the contention of the paper. Obtaining relevant statistics from both the organisations is of minimal concern as all data gathered by these organisations is public knowledge.…

Australia has a proud heritage and an enduring cultural identity. What are we celebrating on January 26 and what does it mean to be Australian? Traditionally, it's about celebrating the First Fleet's arrival in 1788 and recognising the early convicts and settlers. The fact that our language, political and legal institutions are inherited from the British Isles, not anymore. The cultural left tells us that it's all about multiculturalism and celebrating diversity and difference, with some even arguing that Australia Day should be renamed Invasion Day.…

With the Bass Strait and Tasmania to the south, New South Wales to its north, the Tas Sea to the east and with South Australia to its west, Victoria extends to Aussies a wide range of natural attractions that make it second to none in Australia. Let's begin with the Great Ocean Road. I am writing to you on the basis of your new policy of “Stopping the boats”. I believe that it is highly unethical that one should restrict the access of another human being, who is displaced by means of war or poverty into the Australian border. The concerns I am raising are thematically paralleled in the Australian National Anthem “ For all who’ve come across the seas we’ve boundless plains to share”. Why must this policy dictate entry access to our nation if it is indicatively stated that we have “Boundless place to share”?…

But in other countries nearly the whole population of the country don’t even step inside a classroom. Inclusive education requires recognising and complying with a range of government acts, which include, Equal Opportunity Act (1984) and Disability Discrimination Act (1992) that are designed to protect the rights of all children. In 1970 the state government of Australia accepted full…
