I have been participating as a student in Keller Middle School, and I have noticed a problem. The unhealthy food in school has been an ignored situation that needs to be recognized. In this letter I am going to be explaining to you why we should add more healthy options in the school lunchroom. There needs to be a change in the choices we eat at school.
As said in Nation Center for Biotechnology, children with in-school availability of junk foods consume less milk, green salad, carrots, potatoes, other vegetables, and fruit, which lead to bad effects. These habits cause an unhealthy Body Mass Index, obesity, and epidemic. In our cafeteria, food like pizza and hamburgers can result in those diseases or unhealthy problems.
