On many accounts, the criminals who commit capital level crimes will likely commit them more than once to avoid prison, or just for the personal excitement that it brings them. Are those the people you want roaming the streets of your city? The death penalty is the solution to this. The many terrible acts of these high level criminals should not be tolerated in our society. The Death Penalty is a beneficial act that could potentially provide closure to the murder victims family, free up jail cells for lower level criminals, and take dangerous fugitives off the streets with no chance of committing such horrid crimes ever again. The Death Penalty has been used in many instances to eliminate inmates that have been sentenced to death for a capital level crime such as murder or rape. The Death Penalty has many methods of killing. In the past, methods were more severe. Methods such as hanging and an electric chair were used.
