The death penalty is a very controversial topic even after being around for a long long time.To some it’s a great solution, but to others, the death penalty is nothing less than an uncivilized barbaric act. I personally agree with the second opinion stated. The death penalty is not only hypocritical but it’s not right and whether it’s just or not, there is no right way to take someone’s life. It’s cruel, inhumane, and degrading. Life on death row is torture and no human being should have to go through it even if their actions were terrible.
