Persuasive Essay On Nuclear Energy

Nuclear energy is a form of energy that may not be the best option. Instead of using nuclear power, we should use solar power and wind turbines. Nuclear power would have the potential to harm humans and the globe. The toxins released from the use of this could produce the radioactivity to harm humans’ genetics and could possibly lead to global warming. On top of being harmful, it could explode. If this were to happen, many of us would be gone and it would alter the means of life that are currently here on earth. Solar power is more commonly used by households than wind energy is. Many people have solar panels on top of their houses to create power inside their house. This is used to power the television, lights, and electricity in general, and sometimes even the power to help with the plumbing of the house. Scientists are currently working on developing solar powered roads. This would be able to help support the city immensely and the Omaha Public Power District for example wouldn’t have to work as hard for energy. With the solar panels a possibility on roads, there would have to be a lot of construction which would create a lot more jobs for cities and it’d most likely decrease the power bill for most houses (Davison). Since roads are always being hit by the sun whether or not it’s behind the clouds, then these types of solar panels would be more beneficial than just a few panels on top of a house. They would also cover more surface area since roads are all over. It’d be a two-in-one project. Wind turbines are also being used.
