Regardless whether we are with or against this trend in warfare, the robotics revolution looks to alter society’s relationship with war in some insightful ways. Drones have always been deemed as too risky for humans due to the launching of missiles and attacks on unsuspecting humans and the unwanted surveillance. In Pakistan the public outcry has grown louder due to the civilian deaths brought on by air strikes. Analyses by the non-partisan New American Foundation estimates that 17 percent of the total deaths caused by drone strikes in Pakistan were civilian fatalities- between 293 and 471 civilians in total. There is also an estimate that children have been killed by drone strikes since 2004 (Warren, 2014). Unmanned drones are one of the main issues that society faces going forward. There use has become the central tactic for the “War on Terror” and the use of drones is only growing. Although drones have been successful in eliminating targets for the United States, their use can come with massive
