Growing up I always heard about car accidents on the news, the radio, and through family members and I would say that I’d never be in one. Well let’s just say anything can happen and it can happen within seconds. I never imagined being in a car accident until the day I actually was in one with my friends.

As a driver you should know that before you even start your car you should always put on your seat belt first. When driving you should be aware of your blind spots at all times because other cars aren’t always in your eye view. Although it can sometimes be tempting you should always obey the speed limits. Also, you should never assume what another driver is going to do because you never know unless their turning signal is on of course.
A big cause of car accidents in today’s society is distractions. As a beginner driver you shouldn’t ever put your friends in the car with you because they can be a big distraction. Friends could also cause you to get in lots of trouble if there with you during an accident. Putting on make-up, Changing the radio station and texting are all distractions that you should avoid when driving.
