Abortion has been a huge problem in the United States since 1872 when it first became an option for young mothers to terminate their pregnancy. The states should make it illegal for private insurance companies to cover abortion because even if the fetus may not have a full heart beat yet, it is still a living person as soon as it is conceved. Also in the process of abortion, it is very unsafe and harmful to the mother and could kill the mother aswel as the fetus. Lastly, there are many other options for a child instead of Abortion.

According to the bible, an unborn life in the mother's womb is a human individual from conception on. So the mother has no right to make a decision on weather or not the baby gets to live or not, it is the childs decision. Although some many say that since the child isn’t breathing outside the mother they don’t have an opinion on what happens to them, but that isn’t fair to the unborn child that can’t fight for itself. When you think about it, when someone is pregnant, the call the baby, him, her, boy, or girl. So therefore even when the baby is not outside of the mothers body, it is still a living, breathiung, and moving child.

Many pro-choice Christians start their argument however, saying that a fetus or unborn baby is not considered a human yet; so what does the bible say about this? Well the bible states a human as something with personal attributes such as sin or joy, when first hearing this it 's easy to assume a baby does not sin or feel joy but these two passages describe a unborn baby having both In Psalm 51:5, David says, “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.” In Luke 1:44, “For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.” or another that states and unborn fetus is a baby, Luke 1:41 states, “When Elizabeth heard Mary 's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit (1:44).”. After reading this regardless of your position you can 't deny the bible calling a fetus a child or baby, normally the bible is known to be interpreted by the reader, however these are texts straight from the Bible with clear meanings. It is easy to understand how some pro-life Christians believe plain and simple, abortion is taking a life, should be considered murdered and should be illegal, just as it is easy to see how a pro-choice Christian could be worried of a woman getting her rights taken…

Abortion should be a part of a country’s contraception policy. People should plan their families and society must allow women to end unwanted pregnancies in order to deal with failures of birth control, cases of rape and cases of incest. Abortion should be legalized but discouraged. Legal, because it is a choice; discouraged because there are other more effective ways to prevent pregnancy than abortion. Abortion is all about allowing a woman to make her own decisions, in relation to her age, financial stability, relationship stability, and mental and physical capabilities.…
