Differences surround the football field, and that is what makes up the crowd. The student section fans are the lives of the party. They dress up for every single game and cheer the loudest. They have no issues with looking reckless or shouting too loud. The student section fans know every single cheer the school has, and if someone sits close to them every game, they will know all of the cheers also. They care more about how the student section looks and how loud they are being, rather than the game. The student section loves supporting their school in any way possible. Living and breathing the student section is how they make it through their days. Planning all the cheers and all of the themes for the weeks is all they know. They can barely be called fans because they are so off and on again. These fans are there for the team when the team is doing good. When the team is doing terrible, the fans are gone and never to be seen until they are back doing good again. These people do not know much about football, but they try and support a team that never fails, which means that they will never be satisfied. These fans boost the hardcore fans confidence because the on and off again fans do not know much about the teams. These fans are the ones who sit back and relax and see how the team is going to do. If the team starts losing by a large margin, then they will get up and leave. They are not ones to stick around and watch their team

Standing there on the street, I stood staring up to a hundred giant football players walking by me. As I held the rope that the football players walked through, I stretched out my hand to try and high five as many of them as I could. One… two…three…twenty-seven…twenty-eight…twenty-nine! Each one of them pranced by while the drum line marched them on to the beat of the fight song. Standing there looking up at the enormous football players, I avidly wondered what it would be like to walk through this crowd to go play at Highlander Stadium.…
