This type will stand in line tapping their foot, nervously biting their nails and shifting from one foot to the other with the continuous tapping of each foot. This is an example of an anxious personality trait. Anxiety tends to stem from an unknown fear of different factors, we see this in Ph.D. David Carbonell states“With an anxiety disorder, people get afraid when they 're not in danger” (Carbonell, 2014). They could be fearing being late for an appointment or important business meeting and the time being spent waiting in line is going to cause this. Or the fear could have no reason, just the fact they have been standing in line for so many minutes. Anxiety is usually an attribute from another underlying problem. These types of people benefit themselves by remaining calm and collected. This helps them to maintain a lower blood pressure therefore lowering their risks for such things such as stroke or heart disease. It’s also shown that the passive type become more engaged in family or community activities are more confident in themselves and overall more of a pleasure to be around, as we see summarized by Ratledge “Mastering patience – and showing self-control, a quality that’s in the same immediate family – makes you more engaged, confident, and even healthier member of society” (Ratledge, 2014). Society is more prone to except and obtain friendship from these types of people as we can see Ratledge stating “People who are more patient are, to put it bluntly, more likable. They’re better at waiting their turn, not interrupting while others are talking, and not making a scene at the DMV.”(Ratledge, 2014). Therefore, type C is the the all-around optimal type that a person attempts to
