Personal Statement: My Vision For America

Improved Essays
I believe in America. Here, Freedom rings, opinions run rapid and we are brave. That being said, in an ideal world there would most definitely be room for improvement. This country is not what our founding fathers envisioned two hundred twenty eight years ago. My vision for America would be complete equality, complete acceptance, and for everyone to be grateful for what they have, instead of worrying about what they do not. My vision for America includes that all education be mandatory, so our country has to grow instead of having the opportunity to sink. Employment priority such as retired veterans, and those injured required for all businesses. What we have to face is that we are all in this together. My vision for America is dark for the reason that most of our “great country” has no respect for non-humans and treat them like trash; most of our citizens have little to no knowledge ,and often dismiss, rape and abuse; and often try to put themselves into other people's lives and make decisions for them based on their own beliefs. My first reason for why America’s future isn’t bright is due to how little respect we have for animals. For example, animals are treated horribly and killed in such ways that if people actually knew…

From unplugging your television, to riding a bike to work, there are many ways in which we can sustainably manage natural resources and wastes. Natural resources are what makes modern life possible for us, and it may seem impossible for some to cut back because of how much more convenient it may be.
