My journey to apply for the Texas A&M University Dental Hygiene program has been an adventure but I know I found my calling. When it came to choosing a career path, I knew that working with people to improve their health and lives was where I am meant to be. The connection between dental health and overall well-being is vital and I cannot wait to continue on my career journey.
From a young age, I knew that the medical, dental, science fields interested me but I was never sure how to or even if, I could obtain my future goals. After high school graduation, I focused on my passions and started to find my way.
