Personal Statement: Becoming A Teacher

I am interested in becoming a substitute teacher because I feel that it will benefit me in jump starting my career in becoming a teacher. I am currently in my internship in the Van Buren School District and will graduate in December of 2015. I want to begin looking for a job right away however, I know that sometimes finding a job in the middle of the year can be tough. Therefore, I would like to spend some time substituting just so that I get the feel of a classroom and feel comfortable in the different grade levels. It will also give me the opportunity to work on my classroom management styles. I have observed in three different elementary school while attending college at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith.
