It’s no secret to the class that I have strong views on the importance of SF soldiers getting experience and understanding the inner workings of an embassy. When it comes to a warrant officer I believe it is essential that he has some experience (3 months?) operating in/around a US Embassy. By the time he reaches company, and especially battalion level, having that experience with afford a warrant officer greater amount of knowledge when advising the commander on how to reach his endstate in a country with no SOF presence in the…

This week began with a discussion about the duties and responsibilities of a Company level Warrant Officer. Some of the topics of discussion were foreign to me. Maybe it is because I am not directly involved in the process, but I do not see my Company Warrant managing the training within the Company. Typically, I send him my 5W’s for the next week of training and make sure that the Company training schedule is up to date, but that is all. As a Company Operations Warrant, I will ensure that all of the Detachment Warrants are informed and aware of the training management process, and ensure they are managing their training IAW the Army Training Network.…

Then I tried carpentry and being and office assistant, but those made me feel more hopeless than I ever had on my path to finding something that actually inspired me to wake up every morning, fall asleep knowing I'm right where I belonged. Until I joined the military, which probably wasn’t my easiest decision.…

Personal Statement 2 I was about 10 years old when my parents decided they wanted me to join martial arts with my second youngest sister. As I enter the gym to present myself I saw young and older students taking the class. I saw how well discipline and how patient and well manner they all were. That actually caught my attention; in the other hand my sister hated it. Although, I was 10 years old and you would expect someone that age to hate that class because it didn’t look fun, I actually enjoyed it.…

In 2010, a stranger entered my home and stabbed a family friend on several times after she had returned from a ballet.
