REFLECTIVE JOURNAL
When I first started the communication and study skills course, my first question was, how is this coarse going to help me become an accountant that I want to be? But as time went on, I realised that communication and study skills does not largely help one pursue his or her dream career. Instead, it helps one develop personally, and certain characteristics that can contribute or help one achieve his or her dream career. I have learnt a lot in this course. Thus, my journal will be based on the aspects that I have learnt and have helped me develop my inner self and my knowledge. That being; goal setting and motivation, time management, referencing and citation, oral presentation, plagiarism, reflective learning, reading strategies and leadership.
Reflective learning is letting students to take a break from learning so that they can develop their knowledge, their character, train their thinking skills, and analyse their experiences.
GOAL SETTING AND MOTIVATION
Motivation is the need or the desire or the ability that pushes you to obtain a specific goal. This subject under communication and study skills helped me as a person to keep going and work hard and hope for the best. Like

I am now positive and proud to say that I am a University student because I have the characteristics to prove that. Communication and study skills course may not be seen as an important academically to someone but it does build you as a human being. It helps reveal you to your true potential self. However, the text books issued from this course are not as helpful as I suspected them to be. I feel that the text book that we were issued with is not really relevant to the course. I as one do not understand what the text book is about so I feel the text book was irrelevant and we did not need the text book at all because I completed this course without using
