As the rain poured down, I could hardly see a thing. The moon was out and hardly no light except for the street lights. My sister was ahead of me, along with my mom. Thunder exploded loud in the sky as lightning flashed messing up my eyesight. Suddenly I felt something grab my shoulder forcing me back. There was a loud noise centimeters away from me but the rain made it hard to see. As I wiped my eyes to see, I saw something that I’d never forget.
Just before we went to the restaurant, I was at the homecoming parade. It was my second time being in the parade for rambotics. The weather was cloudy, the sun appearing every once in awhile. Rain clouds were above threatening to rain at any second. The day was friday on October 2013. As night approached the sky began to get darker, and rain as a storm began form and was surrounding us as we walked into the restaurant.

My parents were talking as usual and my sister was playing her Ipod. I took my phone out and just entertained myself knowing it’d be awhile before we left. After 20 Minutes I was ready to leave, my parents were still talking and hadn’t even paid the bill yet. After a few minutes I was able to get them to leave. If only we had been 5 seconds earlier...none of this would have happened. My sister went ahead with my mom to get the car, my dad and I stayed behind as he paid the bill.
