The eloteros sell many tasty snacks such as chicharrones, raspados, corn, fruit, and a lot of Mexican candy that I promise you, you will want to buy more. I always ask for a raspado, which is crushed ice in a cup, and the elotero pours a water like substance with the flavor of your choice. Usually there's strawberry, lemon, tamarind, pine apple, and grape. With the raspado, I also get a vasolote, which is cooked corn seeds in a cup, and the elotero adds cheese, mayonnaise, and pepper if you want. I usually never get pepper because it's really spicy, but if you're up for spiciness, be my guest and try it. To complete my order of snacks I also ask for chicharrones, which are wheel looking chips that are fried. On the chicarrones I always ask for lime and this hot sauce called Valentina; it's really good. Just talking about the snacks makes my mouth watery. While the elotero prepares the snacks, he sings along to his music, which is in Spanish. If you don't speak Spanish, it's perfectly fine, the beat is really catchy so you can dance along to
