We got an in and out burger before we got to the graveyard and when I lifted my burger to my mouth the grease dripped into my mouth and the sweet and savory meat, cheese, and ketchup exploded in my mouth. As we pulled into the parking lot the screeches of the car tires rolling on the ground filled my ears like a little girl screaming. I already knew this was an awful idea. For our fans we decided to go and get the ouija board and to play it. Right as I touched the planchet terror filled up my body and went through all my bones and internal organs. A time when all of our problems and struggles in the physical world slip away for a brief period of time. It is when we wake, we are forced to face the harsh reality of the world we live in. As a child growing up in Rhode Island, the smallest state in the Union, the idea of a vast planet brimming with civilization and culture was more like something out of a fairy tale than it was reality. So, when my father announced that we would be leaving the country to go to Scotland, the home of his and my ancestors, my world began to expand at a rapid pace. This trip could not have been timed more perfectly. The summer of 2007 marked the end of fourth grade, my first year at Saint Mary Academy Bay View.…

For me to properly analyze the videos and the lesson, I broke the subject into three areas—Mind, Body, and Spirit. Mind: The ability of one to have goals and objectives in athletics creates a therapeutic environment for the mind with unique and unexplainable healing power. It refocuses one’s mindset from self to the needs of others. A death of someone is never easy to handle, especially when it’s someone you truly care about. Growing up, the subject of death was never really concealed from me. My parents were very upfront about it and taught me that it is part of life. I have experienced multiple deaths throughout my years, both of family and nonfamily members, but only 4 of them really impacted me and taught me lessons. I wouldn’t say that these experiences of death has made me numb to it, but has shaped the way that I handle and look at death.…

A Handy Ghost 1 I don't give credence to ghosts. Of course I've heard of them, who hasn't. But I always deduced that notwithstanding all their supposed spookiness, I've never heard report of them killing or injuring anyone; a little fright now and then is all, and that possibly without intention. So, if there are such things, then given their ghastly, but harmless history, they're as harmless as a passing breeze...…
