Personal Narrative: The Day I Left My Car

I left my mansion in my Bugatti in the evening. I just wanted to go for a joy ride, because I find it really soothing. So I was driving along and I saw some graffiti on a brick wall that said "Go this way!" So, obviously I turned down the road. The road was a bad paved job. Bumpy, rocks on the side, and slightly covered in dirt. On the side of the road I saw a sign that said "The Hood." I didn't know what that meant but I decided to go down there because it looked like a great drive. I was driving along and met some friendly folks in the alley. I wanted to walk around and explore here so I decided to stop and ask them where the parking lot was. They were very kind and friendly. This one guy said there was no parking lot but he was the valet …show more content…
He drove away leaving a cloud of exhaust. What a great guy! So I was walking down the road, the rocks crunching under my feet, when I realized how hungry I was. I really wanted some homemade cookies. Ummmmmm they sound so great right now. So I was daydreaming about some homemade cookies when I saw a cookie stand! They were 25 cents for a cookie. I was going over there when I realized I don't have any money. I got really upset but I found a silver round object on the ground. I wondered what it was. I waked close and realized it was a quarter! It looked really clean in the dirt. So shiny and brand new. I picked it up and it was warm, like someone had dropped it just for me. I saw it was on tails. "Oh that's too bad." I said. I dropped the quarter so I wouldn't have bad luck. So as I was walking away as I ran into a fence. Just a plain old whit fence, besides the barbed wire on the top. The paint was chipped and faded. It looked leith was panted a while ago. Someone had dug a hole under it. The fence planks were dull at the bottom. The key was already in it. A normal brass key you would see …show more content…
It had the biggest waves I've ever seen. So I decide to climb the fence. It was pretty easily actually. I mean, the barbed wire hurt a little, but besides that it was easy. So I took off my shoes, and walked to ocean on the warm sand. The ocean was crystal clear. You could see the Sharks swimming around in the water. I wish I had a surf board because these waves are great. They were a far out too. I examined the ocean and found a lighthouse about a mile off shore. I was really craving to go body surfing so I did. I ran and dove into the water. Pretty good dive with good form, except I hit my head on the ocean floor. I stood up and the water was up to my waist. The Sharks started circling around me, I assumed they wanted to play or something. This ocean had a lot of fish in it. I thought I saw the fish from Finding Nemo. I grabbed onto a shark that looked to be about 15 feet long. He pulled me around for a while until he got tired and he brought me back to shore. I walked out of the ocean, soaking wet, and saw my car crashed against a tree. That's a bummer, I thought. I'll just walk home. So I started my way back to my house along with the great memory's I

On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…

After five hours under Mrs. Gonzalez’s 1997 Plymouth, my hands were so dirty I had to wash them ten times just to see my fingernails again. She was a familiar face around the shop, given that neighborhood thieves had routinely targeted her car. This time, though, they had gone too far. Someone had crawled underneath the car and cut out the valuable catalytic converter, and she couldn’t afford a replacement. When I looked at her and said, “That’ll be $563,” her face turned pale.…

On a casual Saturday morning with the sun high and bright and the air temperature blowing a cool, crisp seventy-five degrees, me and my buddy Shane were on our merry way to the Region C Cup for our competitive soccer team. Not making it to the green traffic light that was soon to turn yellow, I easily applied the brake to completely stop my car right on the line. Sitting at the red light in my 295 horsepower silver 2007 Lexus is250, I glanced over to the right side of my car and noticed an exceptionally nice 275 horsepower purple 2010 Dodge Challenger beside me. Earlier that month I had to purchase a new transmission because I blew up the original transmission in a race, but of course, I didn't learn my lesson. Knowing that the car next to…

The road most people in my community go down you shouldn't expect me to writing this. My family doesn't have the most money in the world and we don't have the most opportunities here. My hometown is one of the poorest in the country and many people would expect me to just quit school and get a job to support my family, but that was not the case with me. I pushed myself to achieve something greater than what others around me have done. I didn't want to fall into the stereotype that because I am part Mexican I’m lazy or just another trouble maker because I'm not that!…

I was rushing to get to a morning club meeting, so I quickly gathered up all of my things and stuffed it in my backpack and hurried to my car. I was on my way out the neighborhood when I realized I forgot something at home. So, logically I had decided that I would make a quick U- Turn back home to grab what I had left. One thing that I had noticed over the past year is that there is always a big blue pickup truck parked right at the entrance of my subdivision. I only had my license for a couple months but a simple U-Turn seemed easy enough.…

When we got there, I was immediately in love with the beach. Time seemed to stop, and all I could take in was the cold of the water around my ankles, and the exciting fact that I was actually there. It was so beautiful, and I don’t think I've ever seen something so BIG! The way the waves jumped and leaped over each other was amazing. We all ran to the shore and I slowly dipped my toe into the water, smiled at my mom, and leaped into the the blue waves.…
