Thanksgiving at Marymount California University was one day I will never forget. The day was to celebrate the holiday as a school with staff and students. I arrived at the cafeteria and it looked like it got shut down. The tables were covered with orange and yellow tablecloth. The room was soon filled quickly. Many of us were hungry and decided this was an option since the cafeteria took a break and closed down as a whole. Some were very excited about the tradition. The dishes provided that day were stuffing, mashed or sweet mashed potato, sauté zucchini and butternut squash, different types of breads, some salad, fruit and pies. I asked may I have a little bit of everything and stopped in my track when I approached the sweet potato and mashed potato. I looked up and said I would like to have tons of mashed potatoes please. I received my serving and could not find the gravy. Fortunately one of my friends waist front of me and pointed out the gravy. I was so excited that could not use my hands to pour out the gravy. My friend was kind enough to help me pour gravy on my mashed potatoes. Trust me those were the best mashed potato and gravy I ever had in my life. There were three types of pies. Cherry, Apple and Pumpkin pie. All three looked satisfying to me though I could not pick. I selected an apple pie with vanilla ice-cream on top. My friends selected a slice apple pie and a slice

Thanksgiving is approaching very fast and I’m so ready to go back home. It’s been almost five months since I’ve seen most of my family. When I first arrived at Bethel I loved everything about it, but as time went on I began to become homesick. I can already smell my mom’s red velvet cake and her peach cobbler coming out the oven! As a matter of fact I’m becoming a little hungry just thinking about it!…

Feed my starving children is a non-profit organization that packages food to send to malnourished children in several countries. These sustainable meals are made specifically to pack as many nutrients as possible to help nourish and strengthen the children so they can be healthy and conquer their fight against starvation. On Monday, November 28, 2016, my family and I had dinner your restaurant to celebrate Thanksgiving Holiday. As a loyal customer who have been eating in your restaurant for two years, I was not happy at my recent dining experience at Homey Buffet during that time. Because of this, I would like Homey Buffet to grant my $360 refund request. I made a reservation a month ago for 15 people (9 adults, 6 kids) on the phone and speak to the hostess, Alyssa, who told me that my reservation has been scheduled smoothly. However by the time we arrived, we were told by same hostess that our reservation was lost and to wait 45 minutes in cold temperature outside.…

The Trip to the Grocery Store I haven’t seen him in weeks or maybe even months, I thought as I glared across the small distance between where I was standing and my dad’s car. With my One Direction CD clutched in my hands, I started to close the distance by walking towards his car. I opened the door and slipped in, and then he started to drive to the grocery store. At the time I was under the illusion that my dad would be even slightly happy to see me, but no.…
