Salem’s Birthday

“Her name is Salem,” Yvaine indicated rocking the new citizen of Stormhold. I felt the happiness in her eyes which is beyond sensational, while my parents in the back feeling proud and giving us moral support.
“Yvaine, she’s delightful,” I said with glee, saying all her hard work of labour was worth it.
“She got it from her old man,” Dunstan boasted while walking towards Salem to get a better look with arms crossed.
“Dunstan!” Una responded.
“Salem huh? I love it,” I agreed. It had been 10 months since my coronation of being the ruler of Stormhold and that whole witch crisis, Yvaine was getting nightmares of the witch cutting her flesh out and getting her heart, because the Witches wanted a Star’s heart and eat it to be

I have awoken from my slumber and my pathetic sisters had one hundred years to kill me but they succeeded not,” She explained, “They think I’m too powerful And now that I have awoken I atleast want a heart and two pair of eyes, Thank you very much,” She demanded.
“And what makes you think that we would accept your request?” I responded with my sword out.
“How did you know who we are and where we are?” Yvaine said continuing the questions while hugging Salem tightly.
“You might notice, I control Eyes,” Eyeena lectured pointing at her glowing, reddish pupil, “But I can’t control one’s eye when they’re alive, but that’s fine I have my own pair. I saw an Alligator’s dead body on a table with an Eye, eyelids open. I look through and saw Royalty killing my sisters and a new King with a Star, That’s how I found you, and I killed the Pirates for their Eyes,” She explained even more.
“I don’t really care, all I do care is you’re going to turn everyone back to the way they were and leave the Castle peacefully,” I commanded with my sword ready to fight.
“Nice posture, but I don’t care about you, I care about the Stars. I am also kind, So king you get two options to who I get, These people for their eyes,” Eyeena decided while touching Shakespeare’s face,”Or I take the Star and the Young Half-Star’s

“WITCH!,” I shouted, and Eyeena looked after she’s done embracing a dead person’s eye, “I have made my decision.”
“Oh, good. Who’s gonna be it,” Eyeena grinned gleefully.
“I choose-,” I said building up tension, “-YOU.” While my eyes closed, I ran to her as fast as I can so I don’t freeze into place and then got my sword and jabbed her right eye and then the left. And she is left powerless over me, everyone and the eyes afterwards I stabbed her in the chest, completely killing her. And then I heard Yvaine and Salem walking towards me after our victory.
“Tristan!” Yvaine shouted whilst running with Salem towards me, both hugged me tightly and I hugged back. When everyone was free, they cheered and praised me, revealing that they knew what was going on and they heard it, and then in the back Captain Shakespeare still sad about his great loss, I felt bad and I walked towards him.
“Hey, Captain, I’m sorry about your pirates,” I said sympathetically.
“It’s fine, but Tristy, good job back there,” Shakespeare noted, changing the

Perhaps Mary Easty’s warrant had not come as a surprise; the notion that sin ran through lineage was a popular belief among Puritans, and had affected many others before it afflicted Mary Easty and her sisters, Rebecca Nurse and Sarah Cloyse. It was Rebecca who was the first sister to be accused of witchcraft, followed shortly by Mary whose warrant for arrest came not even a full month after she petitioned for her sister and rebuked the claims of the “Afflicted” girls. While chiefly accused by Mercy Lewis, a girl whose claims were bolstered by the testimonies of the influential Putnam family, Easty was also accused by several other parties of maleficium and appearing as a specter that threatened, choked, pinched and poked its captive audience.…

For some reason, the Capulet adviser found the bitter words thrown at her much more satisfying than the blows she had landed. Perhaps it was because Tiberius Capulet was the one who taught her how to throw her punches, how to make her foes taste blood. She had learned how to snap bones and break skin through his mentoring and assistance. Then Orpheus had taught her how to snap and bite, how to roughen her edges that had become too softened, too refined. But those words?…
