He stated, “Oh I’m sorry officer, I didn’t know that my friends car was missing another license plate. I’ll tell him that he needs to fix that.” I asked him his name and date of birth. He stated, “My name is uh, Abe Jensen and I was born on September 18, 1968,” I ask him to spell both his first and last name. He stated, “Well uh, it’s A-b-e J-e-n-s-i-n of course.” As he said that I wrote in my notebook what he told me. I looked at the passenger and I asked what his name was and if he had any identification on him. The passenger stated, “I just want to show you a piece of paper about the car.” The driver then asked me, “How long have you been a cop?” I ignored the question and walked to the passenger to see what kind of information he had to give me until dispatcher then advised me that Abe Jensen has a valid license with a previous suspension.
