Personal Narrative: My Visit To St. Augustine In Florida

Have you ever been to a haunted town? If you ever want the experience, visit St. Augustine in Florida. My family and I went here on a vacation in the summer. The town was founded in September, 1565 by Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles. It is actually the oldest city in the United States, which is why it is known for being haunted. St. Augustine has many landmarks that make it a unique and interesting place.

One landmark in St. Augustine is the lighthouse. The lighthouse, surrounded by a graveyard is one of the towns most infamous features. As you're walking through the graveyard, into the only entrance of the lighthouse, you come upon multiple walking trails that you can tour on the lighthouse's land.
