That was not going to happen. As we find our way around looking at all kinds of things that Ms. Thomas likes. Kassie suggest that we go and look at the mummy's. Jake from State Farm agrees with her. So we all go and find the mummy section. Just before we go to enter Kassie ask Jake from State Farm if he would wait for a minute because she had to go the bathroom. Frank and I decide to go ahead and go in. That is when the problem started. The lights went out and we all got separated. I could not tell you where the others were. While Frank and I wait for our eyes to …show more content…
When our eyes finally readjust to the dark. We look around and find that the door has shut. We walk over and attempt to open it only to find it locked. We assume that since the power went out it is on an automated system that locks all the doors in the building. Now we are on the hunt to find something to get the door open with. Frank comes up with an idea to use the remains of the mummy's. I think it is a bad idea but we do it anyways. I grab the head and he grabs one of the legs. We attempt to open the door but the old bones brake. I get mad and throw the head at Frank. That was no help at all, but it was fun. So now we are on the hunt again. I find an old rod that seems strong enough to open the door. With some luck and screaming at Frank we are successful. I ask Frank if he has any clue where the others might be. Of course he says with a smirk "how should I know"? I know he is lying, but I go along with it. Just to see what happens. We walk down the hallway and we keep hearing this weird moan. I give it no thought. Giving the way Frank likes to joke around. We come upon an old door on the right. I feel the door and I feel some cracks running up and down

When I visited George Washington my sophomore year of high school, I instantly knew that your school is where I wanted to go for college. It just wasn't like any of the other colleges that I had seen before, and for that matter it was unlike any I have seen since. I saw that GW is in a beautiful location and that its presence in the capitol greatly enhances both its value and the city’s around it. I really liked walking around the campus, as it was extremely vibrant. I saw that safety is also important, and the combination of security that holds jurisdiction in this area is extremely reassuring.…

Or, if we woke up early enough, the 6:15 a.m. My Father made sure we went to church every Sunday. He cut our hair every Saturday morning so we were sharp, and ready to receive the word from Pastor Floyd H. Flake and his wife, Elaine Flake.…

The car ride there felt like a long eight hours. But I knew it would be worth it because I only went to Philadelphia once, and that was when I was one years old. I’m glad we left from my grandma’s house in Meadville, Pennsylvania, or else it would have taken about fourteen hours just to get there. And that would definitely not be fun. We left Sunday to get to my grandma’s house for the week we normally stay there, but instead, my mom, my sister Sydney, my brother Jack, and I left for Philadelphia on Wednesday, August sixth.…

Stories from the Grave Cemeteries bring to life memories of the dead. Visiting the Syracuse cemetery was eye-opening for me. The only times I have walked in cemeteries, have been for the burials of both my cousin and grandfather, and when I visited the American cemetery in Normandy, France. For some inexplicable reason, I have always been wary of graveyards, memorials, and cemeteries. This project thrust me into a world that I have never cared to observe.…
