Personal Narrative: My Trip To Katniss

We could not stand the temptation of stealing from the bakers store, or grabbing items while in a busy market. This is not what we wanted.

We packed our small variety of attire and made our way into the hall where the tributes had been staying after they had been chosen to represent district 12. Pretending to visit Katniss was our ticket through the first set of guards. As we tip-toed through, I

I thought to myself, "No, this can't be the end." So I started my flee from the raging stampede. My vacuous boyfriend hadn't moved an inch due to his extreme shock. I ran with all the stamina I had, until a small ball-shaped rock came underneath my foot, engendering it to roll. Banging my head straight on the rough grey concrete, I was

The grasses that grew out of rocky fissures and in expanses along the tourist paths were dried from the September heat and waved golden-brown in the slight morning breeze. I was beginning to get that special antsy feeling reserved for right before a significant event. It was time to go.…

Because of this, the Capitol, most years of the Games, shifts their favor towards the first four districts nearest to them. This might also have an effect on the outcome of the story.…
