I knew there was a good chance I would make the team, but the previous year I didn’t score at all, my jump shot was not great and I couldn’t make a layup to save my life. I hadn’t ran in a while outside of football. I would run around a park that is close to my house as much as my body could take. It was nearly time for tryouts and I felt I was ready. On the 1st day of tryouts I did not do that great. I missed a lot of threes and I knew the second and final day I had to do good. The day had passed and I made sure I got a lot of sleep.
