For one, I have worked for the Arizona Democratic Party in the Barber’s Campaign 2014 as a Field Organizer. In this role, I was responsible for recruiting, managing and coordinating volunteers. I had the opportunity to work with high school volunteers to organize projects such as voter rallies, phone banks, and canvass neighborhoods. In JC Penney I was in charge of my office organizing the daily reports on file, keeping weekly inventory in check, and data entry. On the Democratic Party I manage data collection, data entry into the van system, keeping track of invoices, and complete daily reports of the progress of the campaign. I have extensive teamwork experience from previous jobs in which I have to work with my colleagues to meet specific target goals such as sales or voter contacts metrics. I enjoyed working in a team because when everyone comes together we are able to accomplish more work.
Furthermore, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona and a minor in Commerce. I decided to study Political Science because I strongly support social justice, immigration, and human rights. As an individual I belief in equality, everyone should have the same chances of becoming anything they want to be.
