Personal Narrative: My Goal Of Becoming A Dental Hygienist

“Set your goals high, and don’t stop until you get there” (Bo Jackson). Each and every person has a dream or goal growing inside of them like a wild flower. In order for a wild flower to grow, it needs the proper nutrition, as do your goals, you have to nourish and allow you goals to grow, but in the same breath you have to accept failure where it comes in trying to achieve that goal you have, because failure is another way of learning. My goal is to finish college and earn my associates degree and become a dental hygienist, in order to achieve my goal of becoming a dental hygienist, I plan to earn my associates degree with a good GPA, volunteer at a local dental office, and continue my study at dental school. I currently work at freeway café full time and I have been there for the last 4 years, and I live with my boyfriend and my two dogs Buster and Chester I am currently a freshman in college and living live to the fullest! Although, life hasn’t been all sunny days and happy endings, I have continued to push forward and make the most out of every day. I am always striving to be the best I can be, even in situations where I feel like giving up.
