My experience with sewing is at the beginner’s level. Previous times I’ve sewn was during home ec back in middle school, but that was on a sewing machine. My hand sewing experience is far less, i only remember bringing up the hem of a t-shirt, and just recently, following a sewing guide’s instructions stitch by stitch, with only a few creative variations. My embroidery of facial features still had a way to go, for the eyebrows weren’t perfectly symmetric and the french knots for the pupils were irritatingly larger than I wanted. The yarn hair was surprisingly simple, but it took hours to loop and stitch the yarn. The result was lovely, with the yarn pulled into a coronet of braided, soft, red hair. The only thing left was the dress.
