To the Webster dictionary the noun anomaly defines as, “something that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected”. In the entirety of my early educational career I have fluctuated between both sides of the deviation chart. When someone like me does not fit into a standard, I unintentionally created a dilemma for many of my previous teachers, parents as well as setting a personal goal for myself. Even though I had this problem, I had a drive to always help people in so matter or way. While, attending The New York City College of Technology I have reached a point where I can understand myself as a learner to then allow me to see that I want a career which helps people in any form.
