I was able to read increasingly efficiently; absorbing more information in less time. I also had an easier time writing essays. I hadn’t made an incredible amount of progress at this time but I knew that I was on my way. At semester I felt as though I had a handle on things. I thought I was handling the workload very well; balancing it with the rest of my classes. There were of course some very late nights and at times I struggled with my organization. But I always managed to slip by with A’s, B’s, and the occasional C. It seemed that through my senior year I was progressing quite nicely. Then….the second semester …show more content…
I will soon cease to walk the halls which I have called home for the past several years. Yet I feel as though my knowledge lever has increased. I have become a brighter and sharper student, especially in the English department. This senior year I was pushed harder in my English class than I ever had been before. My world was full of annotations, lectures, essays, and books. I thought that I would never emerge from the experience with any sort of acceptable grade. Yet I did, and I improved while doing so. I can now write more structured, organized essays which help me paint a clear idea of what I am trying to get across. My reading speed as well as reading interpretation has improved as well. I am a much more capable writer and reader now than I have ever been before. Also, my organization skills are rather good too. I may not be able to keep my room consistently organized but I can organize my schedule. Throughout this senior year I have made many changes that I am proud
