When I was young I had gotten locked out of my house by accident, but I was not scared I just started thinking of ways to get back. My thought process went like this “How do I open the door?” I should be able to open the door with tools. “Where do I get the tools?” I should go to my grandmother’s house for the tools as it not very far away, and with that I started traveling over there. This was the first time I went outside on my own so I experienced many things like how the people in city of Philadelphia didn't ask why a young child was on his own, but before I was able to reach my destination, I was picked up by the cops that my father had called when he saw that I wasn't there. …show more content…
My mother also wanted to moved up there so that she wouldn’t have to spend so much time traveling back and forth, but my father stayed in Philadelphia because his job wouldn’t allow him to move. Since this happened, I had to transfer schools, and I came around the time they were testing students’ reading ability. When I was tested I aced it was because I was able to think and read at fast speeds. So from me realizing that I overthink things, I used that to my advantage for many things like reading books in a short time. This also helped me whenever I was writing, and it helped even more in any topic I was interested in. It also helped me when I was solving problems because I thought of unconventional means to solve them. Since my friends knew this, they would ask me to help review their writing
