After waiting so long, the realization hits me that I will finally get a dog. Once arriving to the house, eagerness to step out onto the grass overcame me. The fresh air and hot breeze were a reliever from the stuffy car. There was a small brick house with a big lawn filled with white fluff balls. There were six Samoyeds in total; two of them parents and four of them puppies. The father towered over all of them at three and a half feet on all fours. We were allowed to play with the puppies before we picked one out. The runt of the litter stood out to me the …show more content…
Soon she had been introduced to her new home in our foyer. Shy at first but quick to adjust us, she began to play with me. Her teeth bit into my skin as we wrestled throughout the day until we both collapsed in exhaustion. Not wanting to make any mistakes on our first day with her, alarms pierced my ears as it was feeding time. As she ate, I reclined on our sofa in an attempt to have a little screen time to this successful day. But, the day was not over yet and as ten o’clock neared, fatigue consumed me and compelled me to sleep. Upon each step of the staircase, exhaustion reminded me to look down as I stared into a pair of black almond eyes and finished my journey to my room. I slumped onto my bed and prepared for a long night of rest. As sleep neared, a high pitch whine snaps me awake and then repeats and repeats and repeats… As the shriek continues, realization engulfs me that I will be the one waking up for this dog. On a beautiful clear morning of February the 19th, my mom picked me up from my class at the University of West Georgia, then we went to Waffle House to have a nice breakfast. We left from Waffle House, proceeding down Maple Street, and turned onto South Street and immediately onto Kenner Street. We then turned onto on the merging lane on South Park Street (US Hwy 27) heading south, we immediately halted to a full stop as vehicles moved from the middle lane into the merging lane in front of us, but at that time there were no vehicles behind us. As we waited to enter traffic, a car suddenly struck us from behind which caused the car to jerk violently forward, causing my mother’s chest to hit the steering wheel, and our heads and bodies to whip forward and then back.…

I hear the loud, rough sound of the door opening, as I enter my soft, green house. Today at school had simply been horrific. My alarm hadn’t gone off this morning and everyone was in such a glorious mood when I arrived to the all too familiar building (note the sarcasm). Suddenly I hear the all too familiar jingle of the tags on my dog, buddy’s, collar. Setting down my black and white bag with a sigh, I trudge to the back of the house where he is.…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…
