Me myself and Katie I am Katie I was born on a cold night on December fourth 2001 at eight thirty four P.M.. I have two siblings an older sister named Karen and a younger brother Chris. My entire I have lived in the same house, and have attended the same school Rio Calaveras Elementary school since kindergarten. I never had family issues or trouble making friends; I have not lived a hard or difficult life, but I do work hard to make sure I don’t have to. I feel a word to describe myself would be determined. I may not be the smartest in the class or the fastest but I strive to do better than was doing before and to give whatever I am working at my all. I have dyslexia, and hated reading when I was younger and did not try at anything I did not give it my undivided attention. So I was in a rut and was getting C’s and D’s something had to change. I did I worked hard and in fifth grade I had a teacher who cared enough to help me do better. She helped me get into the GATE class and helped me to care about school.Without the people who have helped me for the better I would still be in an average class getting D’s. I would not have accomplished what I have; being in the Gate Class, participating in Academic Pentathlon, passing algebra and moving into Geometry. So I am determined to push myself and keep going to do better than yesterday.

I am not physically strong but I fight for what I believe in and who I care for. I fight for people I love and things I view are important, but I don’t fight for everything. Sometimes I don’t fight to do better because I am struggling and need a new view on how to stay alive. Cause when you stop fighting and give up you drown you stop trying. In History I got a 70.5 a C- which is terrible and people say because I did not try I got that grade, I feel I did try enough to hold on and look for a way to help me thrive better than this way is.
