They keep saying that we've never completely left Amsterdam. I can't totally disagree on the later. Although it's not because we act any different, we're always the same on the surface. But I believe that each of us learned a thing and brought something back, that a piece of us remained there and that we took a piece of Amsterdam to fill the hole. That sparkle we shared deep inside our eyes, the immediate tightness of our bodies when someone makes an allusion, the faint smile on our lips when we glance at each other in the hallway.
