Though he was reluctant, he accepted my offer because I also told him that the book was not in good shape, and it was written in English. No one would be interested in buying it since we are French speaking country. If he had not to take my offer, no one would not get no one to buy this book. The street book seller took my offer.
Since then, my mindset was no longer the same. My life took another road. I burned oil nights to read it, and even to skip some classes at my school. The riches of the book have been beyond any measures. It has been like life for me. Life is where everything begins; and death is where everything ends, forever.
I capitalized all my soul and energy on these words: possibilities, opportunities, determination, and persistence. I told myself: my greatest asset is that I come from ashes. My grind and desire for better days are my fuel- that is my ultimate inheritance from my parents.
