Personal Narrative Essay: The First Day Of Fair

Day1 Today is the first day of fair I have been working with my beautiful pig silver non stop for the past for months I think she has good shot at winning grand champion or at least reserv I am also hoping to take showmanship this year because last year i came in second to my friend Tara. Today we need to bring silver in for way in the max wait is 270 lbs I'm worried because Silver is right on the edge at 269 lbs. Now, my dad and I are getting the trailer ready to bring Silver to fair. The trailer need some repairs because last year my pig Thug broke a side door and tried to jump out of the trailer. First were fixing the broken door by taking a wire and tying it to where the door lock stays locked and it does not come opine in less I opine it myself. Now we are taking a bag of shavings and filling the trailer so Silver has a soft spot to lie in. We finished getting the trailer so now i am going inside to get my mom and brother to help corral the pig into the trailer. First my brother and dad grabbed two wooden boards and made a shoot. Next my mom opened the gate and I walked Silver into the shoot. At this point Silver got scared and tried to back up through me it was hard but we got her in. the trip to the fairgrounds went very well. Confirmation is where the judge decides which pigs are market ready and can be sold as well as what pig is the best quality at fair. The order of the pigs was by weight so I helped people in my group get ready by letting them use conditioner and get them supplies. When i finally got called into the ring I got super nervous this judge was the first judge to not allow people to sell in 4 years and he called out a lot of people. In confirmation I got grand champion for 4h with my friend Kristy getting reserve so we had to go up again against ffa’s champions. I managed to win supreme champion and Kristy go
