Personal Narrative Essay On Abortion

I never was a natural born U.S. citizen, I was actually adopted. I was born in the Hunan Province in China. It was called Ping Cheong or other known as the "oven of China". I never did figure out who my birth parents were or what they looked like, but I did know they loved me. When I was about three months old my birth mom dropped me off at a police station. See back in the day, China would only allow one child per family. Also, if you were going to have a child, you would have wanted a boy, not a girl. Although, if you did have a girl and if wasn’t breached yet, then some might have aborted the baby. Also, some might have aborted because they already had a kid. This was because if you were caught with more than one kid, you could be killed or severely punished by the government. But for the parents who didn’t want to abort, they sometimes left the baby at an orphanage or somewhere the baby could be found and put

In the picture they sent my parents I looked fat. This was because I was wearing a ton of layers of clothing. So a lot of the clothing was big on me. The first night we were in the hotel I cried all night. I don’t know why, but I just did.
