Moving To America Essay

I have been to America 7 years, and I want to talk about my immigration. “ Immigrant” this word has a strong power and it going to change my life. When I was a child my mother away said we will be going to a place far away to China. In that time I have to know idea what she talking about. But when I 13, my mother told me we going to move to America and live right there. I told my mother I don’t want to go to America because I don’t want to left my friend. She was against me, she said I have no choice leave or not, I must be followed with her and Dad immigrant to United State. In the new years of 2010, I came to America. I remember that day when we coming is a snow day, and that is my first time to saw a snow. I can’t believe what I saw, completely different than China. In the street, I have saw lot of different people, have white, have black and yellow. Somebody came from Europe, some came from Asia, and some came from Africa… In the night of the day, we are going to my grandfather house. My grandfather has been to America 10 years, only a few years I could saw him when he goes back to China. But now I can saw him in every time, and he already rented a …show more content…
But we going to different class, she going to the fashion design class and I going to the liberal art class. Even we have differences we can eat the lunch together. Sometimes I was envious that she could find her major she wants to do, but me I have known yet. I imagined I want to become a scientist, but I know I was not smart; I also imagined to become a musician, but not believe myself. So even to now I still not understand what I really want to, should I follow my dream to become a scientist or musicians, or should I be same as other to become a regular office worker?
