Sasha knew walking home alone at night was risky, but she had no other option. Her phone had died a few hours ago and there was no way she would be able to hail a cab. So she continued on her way, anxiousness steadily rising within her. She knew this street was risky for the LGBTQ+ community, knowing many hate crimes have occured here. She was walking for about a half an hour when she was yanked into a dark alleyway.
She let out a small scream before a hand covered her mouth roughly, as it jerked her head towards a young man.
"Scream and I promise I will not hesitate to snap your neck."

Will she be ok? What hospital are you a-"
The doctor interupted her, a twinge of annoyence lacing his voice.
"Ma'am please, calm down. I can tell you more details if you are here in person, ok?"
Shea nodded, forgetting that movements can't be read through a phone call. The doctor gave her the location of the hospital, and after Shea thanked him she ordered a Lyft and had the driver take her to the hospital. As soon as she arrived she burst through the hospital doors, rushing to the reception desk.
"Yes, hello, I am here to see Sasha Velour? I just got the phone call about her condition."
The receptionist didn't say anything as she looked stuff up on her computer. After what felt like a millenia she finally spoke up.
"Room 237, careful not to disturb anything."
Shea thanked her and rushed to Sasha's room, bounding up the stairs because an elevator would take longer. When she got to the room a doctor was standing right outside it.
"Hello, you must be Ms. Coulee?"
Shea nodded, and instantly started asking questions.
"Is Sasha ok? Can I go see her? Is she asleep? Is she going to b-"
The doctor put her hand up, silencing
