On 9/7/2017 I met with Sgt. Z. Taylor in reference to the special report. Sgt. Taylor was provided with an order of confidentiality memorandum and a request for a written response. Sgt. Taylor told me that on Sunday 8/27/17 Officer Villalpando requested to drive to his house as he wanted to speak to him. On arrival Officer Villalpando advised that he was listed as a suspect in a domestic disturbance. Officer Villalpando explained that he had gone over to a friend’s house where he drank socially. Officer Villalpando admitted to having more than he should have before leaving. When Officer Villalpando returned home he said his neighbors were outside fighting so he went outside to speak with them and say “hello”. The female neighbor ended up getting

On Thursday 03/29/2018 at approximately 2205 I was instructed by Lt. E. Gonzalez #122 to assist Officer E. Hernandez #216 at Marina Hall (located at 6515 Ocean Drive Corpus Christi which is on Texas A&M University-Corpus Christ) with talking with the neighborhoods. Upon arrival I activated body camera #5 and made contact with an individual by the name of Austin Lucero (student/resident) who lives next door in apartment #2121. I advised Lucero about the incident that occurred next door. I asked Lucero if he has been in his apartment all day, which Lucero advised that he arrived to his apartment a little before 1920 and was at the lobby area of the building until 1930 when he headed to the food truck and did not come back until approximately 2120 to the apartment.…

On Saturday, 12/30/2017, at approximately 1024 hours I was dispatched as a cover unit for Officer Hyink, on the report of a husband who pushed their wife. I arrived on scene at approximately 1027 hours and saw the husband later identified as Confidential Victim #1, outside the garage and the wife, identified as Suspect Prywes, standing inside the garage. I approached Prywes and asked her what happened. She told me she was pushed and hit the concrete hard on her back. I asked her if she would like to have paramedics come and take a look at her and she started to become extremely upset and began insisting that no medics be called.…

We figured that my niece would have to see the error of her ways, get help, take classes, go to group therapy sessions, find a job and conquer her case plan. How long could that possibly take six months? The good news was that my sister who is the children’s Grandmother would be there to help us, getting the babies from daycare and coming home to help out while I juggled homework. We had it all planned out. My father, husband and I took turns taking my niece to her court dates and classes.…

Personal Narrative Assessment Notes The narrative “Out in the Open” would benefit from stronger, more concise language. It's vital to be careful with modifying words. Weak modifiers such as, basically, sort of, and mostly, detract from the strength of all genres of writing. Repetition reviled itself multiple times towards the end of the narrative. The adjective “happy” was overused (three times in 50 words).…

During this weekend, I can say that I experienced all three levels of communication. It is something that at first, I did not realize that I was being that particular way. During the course of my day, then I would realize. For example, the I-It communication level is something that I experience everyday and I’m sure we all do. When I pick up my coffee, when I buy clothes, and when I walk into a store etc.…

I would like to believe that I learned my personal ethics from my family more importantly my parents. Growing up my parents thought me many things that had several messages attached to them. Those messages I now use on a daily basis most importantly in my career. One of the ethics that I could remember is to be caring and loyal friend, neighbor, family, or co-worker. Having these two ethicses has guided me to the field of psychology and is still helping me.…

Though I was not able to put all of my attention to school until junior year, I kicked it into high gear as soon as I could. Despite all my hard work, I was unable to find myself a place in the top 10%. This has hurt my appearance to colleges, but I hope that with these explanations of what I had to go through freshman and sophomore year, my position will be slightly more understandable. Engineering honors is the best thing for my future and everything I want to do with my life. Honors will help me grow as a student, so I can be a better employee and will help me grow as a person.…

This was a very interesting book by not even necessarily what it was about, but the way it was written. This book was written in a fashion I have never read before it was similar to a a journal and a book that has an all knowing narrator. This book was obviously written a time after Chris Kyle was off duty and home for awhile. One of my favorite examples in the book of how its not a journal or a story and more of a mix is when, he talks in southern slang then translates it and adds a side note “for you yankees”. That subcaptions you most likely wouldn't find in a journal but it is in the book.…

The most surprising thing I discovered about Monica would be letters of recommendations. She feels letters of recommendations are important, especially for the student. I figured that she would not necessarily like writing them because most counselors write them all the time. She feels very comfortable helping students out with that type of thing. There is one question I wish I would have asked, but sadly I could not meet with her in person.…
