I thought surely if I struggled through College Algebra that I would have an even harder time in Precalculus. But I think Professor Peterson does an excellent job of explaining the concepts thoroughly. And I have done better than I expected. I botched a part of the first test because I didn't take good enough notes over logarithms, I thought I was better prepared than I was. But that was before also using them in Chemistry, so I really do feel like I have a better understanding of them now. And on the second Precalculus test I missed all of the questions that were from the one day I missed. I will not be missing any more class the rest of the semester. I am really hoping to pull my test grade up with this next test and with the final. Hopefully I will have better notes and will do much better on the logarithms and identities …show more content…
A few months ago that was a very scary thought for me. But now that I'm almost all the way through Precalculus I am feeling a little more confident about taking calculus. I can't say that it's been easy. It has taken a lot of time and effort. But overall I feel better about this class than I expected to. Unfortunately I have to take next semester off, but if I come back to Alvin instead of going straight to A&M, I would like to take calculus with Professor Peterson. It will probably depend on what classes I still need to take before transferring and when they are
