The program allowed me to take on various positions to serve my school. I assisted in the annual blood drive, served dinner to the senior citizens of the community and helped to organize a fifth quarter event for the underclassmen during homecoming week. All of these activities show I value others as individuals, show the younger generation cares about the older one, and shows that everyone serves a purpose in life. Another program I currently volunteer for is 4-H. I participated in 4-H for 10 years throughout which I engaged in countless volunteer and service opportunities. These events taught me how to be a better citizen, how to communicate with individuals from all over the world, and how to be a powerful leader. 4-H taught me to lead by example. By being a cloverbud camp counselor I set a high standard for the campers by staying out of trouble, being involved in the community, and encouraging others to do the same. 4-H trained me to be confident, and always follow every project through to the finish. As a multigenerational club, participants range everywhere from newborn babies to grandparents. As part of the middle generation, I help out when needed, I learn from the example set by my elders, and I teach what I learned from
