Personal Narrative: Be Still

I was driving home today and for the first time this spring I looked at the budding and blooming trees. I knew they were in bloom but today I really stopped and looked. With all that’s been going on I wasn’t paying attention to my surroundings. I have been stressed out, wearing myself too thin, having anxiety, depression, and not really taking a breath in-between. Today I was reminded to stop going in high speed all the time and to slow down and to look around me. When I saw these blooms on the apple tree I whipped out my camera to capture the beauty and the emotions that were connected when seeing this tree. I reminded myself to “Be Still”.
