Personal Narrative: Bailey's Life

Great Essays
Everyone has a way to either open up or shut down. Youth, specifically high risk youth can be hard to break open the wall they put up with one another but not Bailey. Bailey is 11 years old, she is in the sixth grade and definitely acts older than she really is. When I first met Bailey her and I had an immediate connection. Once they found the solutions they went to try it out, which I got to see and record, which was interesting.…

We sat down in the corner and talked more while we ate. Soon, a friend that I made, Skylar, had to return to a hotel that her dad was staying in since she wasn’t allowed to camp that night. Her dad came to the corner to pick her up and unexpectedly handed me a full pizza pie for everyone to share while Skylar was gone. The night went on, and the musical artist named Drake was playing a show at The Garden that evening.…

Greetings Carine McCandless, I finally made it to Alaska and I believe my journey is going to end soon. Later, after arriving, I ran out of food and I went out to search for food such as fruit or berries. After eating a handful I fell asleep and I awaken with excruciating pain. I started to read the book and I had got the plants mixed with a poisonous plant that look exactly alike. I started making myself throw up and began reading more into the book I figured that the plant I ate can cause starvation and death.…

The next day was not a good one for Elaine, as soon as she woke up you could hear her gag and then run straight to the bathroom that connected our rooms to empty her stomach. I am glad I didn't drink last night or else I would also be in the bathroom and that would not be pretty, considering we only have one. I walk to the kitchen to make breakfast for the both of us, we had very little groceries stored in the cupboards so there weren't that many options. However, we did have bread, eggs and bacon, all you really needed for a hangover breakfast. I had just finished making french toast with bacon on the side as Elaine walked out of her room, she looked rough hopefully the breakfast was going to help her feel better.…
